The XAU/USD gold price is fetched from open exchange rate APIs that expose precious metals data. It reflects the spot market price per troy ounce. If the live API is unavailable, a recent reference value is shown with a clear disclaimer.

Exchange rates are sourced from open.er-api.com and are updated daily. They represent mid-market reference rates, which may differ slightly from bank, card or money transfer rates that include a spread or service fee.
